*50% Scholarship is possible from the second year.

If the student can complete at least 55 ECTS credits during the 1st academic year with at least 70% GPA. In addition, the student should belong to the best 20 % of all students in his/her class according to the weighted grade point average.

Do you want to get a degree that offers you both engineering skills and an understanding of logistics? Do you want to study in English and study flexibly in your own time? SAMK studies in logistics are offered via distance learning and through online teaching with only a handful of days when you need to be present on campus.

Studies in Logistics  include external and outbound logistics including transportation technology and distribution management as well as inbound and internal logistics related to sourcing, materials management and manufacturing. You will graduate as a Bachelor of Engineering.


You Will Gain During the Studies

Combination of engineering skills and understanding of logistics management. You will also get theoretical understanding of engineering as well as an analytical approach to work.

Bachelor's Thesis
In thesis you demonstrate your ability to apply your knowledge and skills in practical expert duties related to the professional studies.

Study Arrangements

SAMK offer engineering studies via distance learning which gives you an opportunity to study flexibly in your own time. You will study and communicate in a global network of students and teachers. The studies also include contact teaching days which will take place online. In addition, you need to be present in Rauma for approximately a week every semester.

The entrance examination consists only of a written online examination. To pass the online examination and to be available for student selection, the applicant is required to get at least 30 points from the maximum 100 points. The students are selected from those applicants who pass the examination, in the order of points received.

Online examination measures applicant’s learning skills, logical skills, mathematical skills and understanding of written English. Each applicant has 2 hours to complete the exam after starting it.

SAMK profiles itself as an industrial institution of higher education. SAMK’s profile is based on the needs of the area and SAMK focuses on education, research, innovation and development activities, which support industrial restructuring. Satakunta area has a versatile economic and industrial structure. Therefore, SAMK has to provide research and comprehensive study programmes in technology, business and administration and social and health care even in the future.
