Arcada offer scholarships for Bachelor's level studies to international students. The scholarship covers a maximum of 50 percent of the tuition fee. Based on the student's study achievements, the paying student can be granted a scholarship starting from his or her second year onwards. The degree programme in Materials Processing Technology at Arcada has a clear focus – functional materials and engineering design. You may already have heard about products with smart or functional properties. In many cases the smartness actually lies in the materials. Polymers often offer the perfect combination of properties – the light weight, mechanical strength, elasticity and low costs of processing are just a few benefits of polymer-based material solutions. During your studies modern polymer technology and processes are combined with sustainable development and design, and you become an expert in product innovation based on functional materials. 

Arcada degree programme opens the doors to a booming field where engineers are in constant demand. Material and engineering specialists are needed in practically every business field, from the manufacturing industry to their supply chains, as well as in the public sector.

The education in International Business aims at educating both nationally and internationally oriented, innovative persons with an advanced, practical professionalism for the modern commerce and industry. The programme provides you with a solid understanding of the different areas of business administration, skills in methodology and information processing for business development as well as an advanced knowledge within a specialisation option of your choice. You will major in Marketing, Logistics, Tourism or Financial Management, which makes you a top level professional in your chosen field. There will be several additional modules you can chose from, enabling you to tailor your education to your particular needs and interests. The curriculum is complemented by language studies.

Well, the answer is fairly simple: The Department of Energy and Materials Technology at Arcada.

Arcada University of Applied Sciences is a modern, multi-professional university of applied sciences in Helsinki. The campus located in the beautiful surroundings of Arabianranta on the coast of the Baltic Sea. Arcada offers high-quality practice-oriented programs at both bachelor’s and master’s level. In 2017, Arcada was ranked first in the yearly ranking of best universities of applied sciences in Finland.
