Accountants play an important role in business, providing key information that underpins the work of decision makers within organisations.

Accredited by the main UK professional accountancy bodies (ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA and CIPFA), we focus on practical content and your future employability. Along with all aspects of accountancy, you’ll study topics in economics, law and management.

Professional accountants prepare financial statements and record business transactions; they also use information systems to track financial performance, participate in mergers and acquisitions and quality management.

Our programme will encourage you to develop a broad, comparative understanding of the practices of accounting and develop an ability to evaluate theories and evidence concerning the effects of accounting on organisations and society. You’ll benefit from using practical accounting packages, our small class sizes and excellent access to staff, as well as a series of guest speakers to enhance your learning.
